When you’re first attacked you may not be able to run away immediately, you may not have a plan of response, so you need to train your mind to hit immediately to give yourself some room.
Jim West takes us through a partner exercise where the partner ‘attacks’ with a push or shove, and the person being attacked responds immediately with a punch or two.

Stomp on mans foot, He probably trapped your arms when he grabbed you so strike the groin with your hand then hand then run away or turn around and follow up with a strike to the eyes or throat. In everything you do hit hard but do not unbalance yourself. You are fighting a bigger faster opponent, so don't give him a fair fight.
She's hot
this guy's an idiot...The distance he is from the target when he strikes is a joke. Maybe...he'll pop a zit.
Maybe show what if anything you can do if you are nearly 5' 8+ but petite woman grabbed from behind? You can't move your arms because they are holding them down tight with one of their arms and with their other arm they grabbed you from behind in between your legs, so you are being pulled down and backwards. is there even 1 maneuver that can throw the attacker off long enough for you to get a bit away, to at least turn around and face them (so that can then go for their eyes).
in my few street fights I've had the great luck of landing or usually throwing the first punch and that makes all the difference. Def something you have to commit to when someone gets into your space, especially when guys are peacocking and posturing, nit getting caught up in the theatrics and drawing that invisible line where you know you have to take that step over the line and use violence to solve that problem is the mistake most guys, especially younger ones in college who don't come from a tougher background when they think they'll just push to intimidate and meet a guy who has no problem solving a confrontation physically if they cross that invisible line. just my two cents
